In Isaiah 58:12, the Word of God says, "And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in."
We have two options every morning when we wake up. We can either be BUILDERS or DESTROYERS. Jesus was a builder. In fact, He was a carpenter by trade, and was identified as the son of a carpenter. He was considered one who builds! I'm sure you're wondering where am I going with this, but bear with me. Seeing that Jesus was a carpenter, we tend to only think of Him doing woodwork, or some type of FRAMING for a future construction project. However, if we truly look closer at the four gospels, we'll certainly see what kind of carpenter Jesus truly was. He was a carpenter that worked on FRAMING HIs disciples! Jesus is a master carpenter who sees the importance of building the most important part of a society-- Man! Jesus came to rebuild and reconstruct man while establishing a solid foundation with Him as the chief cornerstone! We see proof of this in 1 Cor 3:16-17 where the Word of God tells us that we are the temples of the Holy Spirit, and in 1 Cor 3:12 where it encourages us to use quality building products. So, let me ask you, "Are you building or destroying your temple, and what are you using to fortify its strength?” I pray yoiu have a great month BUILDING!
